Version 1.0 Update

1.0 at a glance

Sephiria Version 1.0 shipped 2026-07-31 on Steam (app 2436940), graduating from Early Access (2025-04-03) to a feature-complete campaign loop for TEAM HORAY’s top-down action roguelite. The bunny hero from Bunnyville now runs six chapters with Hard Mode elemental modifiers, online co-op up to four via the Mysterious Door, and expanded loot systems that redefine build craft.

If you played Early Access, treat 1.0 as a reset point for guide accuracy — not for erasing Destiny Inscription progress, which largely carries forward.

Headline features

Side Bag inventory

Side Bag adds off-grid storage to swap artifacts before boss checkpoints without discarding pickups. This changes Inventory Grid strategy: bank phase-specific pieces, insert burst lines before Chapter 6 Final Boss, and hold tablets until matching artifacts appear per Tablet Combinations.

Expanded item catalog

1.0 consolidates roughly ~300 artifacts and ~70 tablets, plus fuller Miracles and Potions integration from Miracles & Potions. Loot density rewards players who plan adjacency instead of chasing single rarity spikes.

Six weapon branches polished

Sword & Shield, Greatsword, Dagger, Katana/Blade, Crossbow, Staff/Magic each retain 200+ in-run upgrades with balance passes affecting Tier List rankings. Branch commitment via inscription remains critical — see Weapon Types.

Online co-op

Four-player Steam co-op through Bunnyville’s Mysterious Door receives polish for lobby flow and fight readability. Host migration is still not supported — sessions end if the host disconnects. Read Co-op guide and Companion Build before organizing static groups.

Hard Mode and endgame

Hard Mode layers elemental modifiers on chapters for players who cleared normal mode — detailed in Hard Mode guide. 1.0 positions inscription farming and grid optimization as long-term loops, not rush-to-credits only.

Destiny Inscription and talents

Sapphires continue funding permanent inscription nodes; Ken’s Home Repair quest still gates talents. Verify new nodes added at 1.0 on the Destiny Checklist tool so Sapphire plans stay current.

Combat systems unchanged in spirit

Red laser telegraphs and RMB dodge/parry remain the defensive language from Controls. 1.0 increases pattern density in late chapters rather than replacing telegraph vocabulary.

Recommended post-1.0 checklist

  1. Read Getting Started refresh sections if returning after break.
  2. Re-audit Inventory Grid with Side Bag workflow.
  3. Mark new inscription nodes on Destiny Checklist.
  4. Test co-op lobby with friends before Hard Mode.
  5. Attempt Chapter 6 Final Boss with Miracle/Potion kits from expanded loot.
  6. Read Review for community balance sentiment.

Balance and future patches

1.0 is a milestone, not the final patch. TEAM HORAY historically iterated during Early Access; expect weapon tuning and inscription cost adjustments. Watch Updates hub for summaries after Steam news posts.

Platform notes

Sephiria 1.0 targets Steam for PC. No Roblox version, no cross-platform redeem ecosystems — progression stays inside legitimate runs and inscription.

Version 1.0 is Sephiria declaring its roguelite identity complete: grid craft, inscription, co-op, and Hard Mode in one Bunnyville loop. Patch your muscle memory, fill your Side Bag, and run the six-chapter exam again on current rules.
