Patch 1.0.30 Update

Why 1.0.30 matters

Patch 1.0.30 shipped on 2026-08-20 as the current release for Sephiria (app 2436940) on Steam. This is the first post-launch patch to add dedicated content rather than only fixes: a new boss BGM track, a meaningful artifact behavior change, a weapon attack improvement, three new supported languages, and a broad sweep of Tablet, gamepad, Steam Deck, multiplayer, UI, and inventory fixes.

This page replaces 1.0.29 as the newest build note. Read it alongside Version 1.0 for the systems baseline and Patch 1.0.26 for the August feature pass. No new chapters, weapon branches, or redeem codes.

New content additions

Pentaxis Guardian BGM

Pentaxis, the Guardian of the Library β€” the Chapter 5 boss encounter β€” now has dedicated background music. Previously, the fight reused generic floor tracks. The new track is exclusive to the Pentaxis encounter and enriches the Library atmosphere documented on the Qliphoth and Chapter 5 Bosses pages.

Frozen Bow artifact fix

πŸ₯• Frozen Bow β€” the artifact that fires arrows which apply a Cold damage stacking effect β€” now has arrows that pass through walls. Previously, arrows blocked on geometry even when the player had line-of-sight to the target. This is a quality-of-life fix for players using Frozen Bow in the Library and Wasteland chapters where dense obstacles can invalidate the artifact’s intended use.

Retest your artifact grids that include Frozen Bow if you previously avoided the item due to wall-clipping frustrations.

Flourish Staff attack continuation

πŸ₯• Holding down the attack button while a Special Attack is being cast now continues your attack immediately once the Special Attack ends on the Flourish Staff weapon line. Previously, releasing and re-pressing was required to chain into the next normal attack cycle. This is a smoothness improvement for Staff/Magic builds that rely on alternating between normal attacks and spell casts.

Item and system fixes

Mystic Pot display

The Mystic Pot β€” the artifact/slot machine that converts artifacts between rarities β€” now displays as broken once all of its uses have been consumed. Previously, the visual state did not update, making it unclear whether the pot was spent or still active. See the Miracles & Potions guide for Mystic Pot context.

Suspicious Hat Merchant display

The shop orb for the Suspicious Hat Merchant now shows as broken after the merchant flees. Combined with the 1.0.23 flee-timing fix, merchant routing visibility is now consistent.

Broken Sapphire fix

The Broken Sapphire artifact effect no longer draws on top of speech bubbles. This was a UI occlusion bug where the artifact’s visual feedback overlapped NPC dialogue text.

Tablet Imprinting fix

πŸ₯• Tablet Imprinting no longer disappears without imprinting its effect when activation conditions are not met. If a tablet failed to trigger and vanished with no feedback, this was the bug. Re-test imprinting workflows from the Talents and Side Bag guides.

Tablet Combiner restriction

Tablets that cannot be discarded can no longer be used in the Tablet Combiner. This prevents accidental consumption of locked tablets.

Sephiria now supports 12+ languages total. Language settings are in Options β†’ Language. The wiki continues to cover English, Korean, Japanese, and Spanish with full deep localization.
